She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, one of only three practicing in B.C. with this distinction in British Columbia. She is also a Diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy and is the only double Diplomate practicing in B.C.
She is in full time private practice providing oral appliance therapy management.

Her primary practices for Sleep Better Live Better are located in North Vancouver and Surrey. She also provides Oral Appliance Therapy on Vancouver Island once a month in Victoria, Nanaimo, Duncan, Courtenay and Campbell River as well as in the spring and fall in Prince George.

Bita Behroozynia

cda-ortho oral appliance therapist

Bita graduated from the Level II Certified Dental Assisting (CDA) program at CDI College in 2013. She followed this by taking her CDA Orthodontic Module in 2015 and has acquired skills as a Treatment and Administrative Coordinator in her years of practice.

Bita has been fortunate to work in several fields of dentistry prior to finding the field of Dental Sleep Medicine. In doing so she has gained a wide array of knowledge and expertise. In our practice she competently provides patient care from initial consultations, home sleep testing, patient records including digital scans, sleep apnea and snoring oral appliance delivery, follow up progress and management care.

Since entering the field of Dental Sleep Medicine, she has gained knowledge and expertise in addition to her dental assisting and is competent in all procedures provided in the office. In North Vancouver she will be your contact for most appointments and procedures. She works closely with Dr Muir when she is in the office and is in daily communication with Dr Muir when she is in one of our other locations.

She is compassionate, caring and is committed to improving the health and wellness of our patients. This comes across daily in how she helps our patients understand their condition and manage their therapy. We are grateful to have Bita as our go to professional in our North Vancouver office.

Bita is bilingual and is able to assist patients in translating the medical and dental terminologies for our Farsi speaking patients when necessary.

She lives on the North Shore and when she is not at work, she is taking in the great outdoor activities that our beautiful area has to offer.

Roberta Kreiser

rpsgt, rst, ccsh
rpsgt, ccsh, rst sleep and oral appliance therapist

Roberta started her working career in the dental field as a chair-side assistant, it was then that she developed her interest in sleep and was drawn away from dental assisting into the amazing world of sleep health. Roberta returned to school where she specialized in sleep and obtained her First Allied Healthcare Credential as a Polysomnographer RPSGT (Registered Polysomnograph Technician). This credentialing looks at sleep as a brain function and reports on the abnormalities a patient might have when sleeping in a sleep lab.
Roberta graduated and began working in the world of sleep diagnostics and really enjoyed the patient interaction and sleep education portion of her job in the sleep lab. As a result she returned to school and obtained two more credentials, her RST (registered sleep technologist) and CCSH ( certification in clinical sleep health). These additional credentials enabled her to provide more in-depth education to her patients on the negative side effects of poor sleep and the effects of poor sleep on their overall health.

For the last 15 years Roberta has been a Sleep Therapist treating patients with CPAP therapy. She is excited to join the team at Sleep Better Live Better to be able to continue to provide excellent patient care and outcomes for patients now with Oral Appliance Therapy.

We are very excited to have Roberta join us and she will be your contact for many of the appointments and procedures in our Surrey office. If you call our Surrey location it will likely be her cheerful and energetic voice on the other end of the phone. Once in our office you will be able to experience her caring and knowledgeable care.
